To get a taste of what the Festival Restaurants are preparing for October, make a date and head to Taste MIGF on 24th and 25th September at the Berjaya Times Square Hotel Kuala Lumpur. This spectacular preview to the Festival proper is a gastronomic weekend filled with fabulous food and fun.
The Theatre of Cuisines will feature stations from all participating restaurants, who prepare tasting portions of their Festival Menus. These bite-sized delights allow visitors to taste food from across the Festival board in a fun and interactive manner, chatting with Festival chefs if they so wish, as they go along.
All that is needed are Gastro Dollars, the Theatre of Cuisines’ culinary currency. Valued at RM5 each and sold in booklets of 10, these are the ticket to a Super Gourmet Safari in the Theatre.
Meanwhile, the Epicure International Gourmet Village boasts a selection of premium vendors selling everything from fine wines to exquisite cheeses. Taste as you go along and if something grabs your fancy, purchase it on the spot. Look out for bargains and promotions – there’s always plenty in the Village!
Over at the LuxuryPlus Showcase, visitors can browse through everything luxe, including exquisite getaways, handcrafted jewellery and much more.
